Early Head Start is a year-round program for children ages birth to 3, as well as pregnant mothers and their families.

Home-Based (Children birth to three and pregnant mothers)
Infants and toddlers enrolled in the home-based option receive a weekly 90-minute home visit. During these visits, the home visitor works in partnership with the child’s parent(s) to provide early learning experiences. Children and parents also attend play groups that are scheduled twice a month; offering snacks and parent networking opportunities. The home-based option is available in Skagit and Island county.

Combination Class (Toddlers 16-24 months)
Classroom experience 3 ½ hours per day; 2 days per week (September-June) along with two home visits per month.

Part Day Early (Toddlers 24 to 36 months)

All program options include developmental and health screenings, nutritional snacks and meals, educational experiences, and support and referrals for families working to establish and reach their goals. Our classrooms are developmentally appropriate, based on the needs of the children enrolled and the goals set for them by teachers and their parents.
